Described by Gramophone Magazine as "one of the finest young string quartets", the Doric String Quartet is rapidly developing an international profile. Winners of the 2008 Osaka International Chamber Music Competition and now in their 13th season, the Englishmen will be on only their second USA tour when they visit the Islands. Their Hilo concert will include music by Haydn, Bartok, and Schubert.
