The 2007 winners of the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson International Trio Award, the most prestigious distinction for piano trios, the Berlin-based ATOS Trio displays that rare combination of precision and glowing vivaciousness. Although the trio members are young, they are very polished, with an elegant sound. Haydn, Schubert, and Shostakovich are on the menu for their Hilo concert.
